| Duncan Sones Associates to evaluate our Curriculum Development Initiative | Anna Thorpe-Tracey, 28 Jan 2010 |
| We have appointed Duncan Sones Associates to evaluate the Drake Music Curriculum Development Initiative (funded by Esmee Fairbairn Foundation's 'New Approaches To Learning' strand). The formative evaluation will take place throughout the three years of this initiative and will be jointly carried out by Duncan Sones - former Chief Executive of the National Training Organisation for the Arts and Entertainments sectors, and Gail Dudson - Director of Yorkshire Youth & Music. Duncan and Gail previously evaluated Musical Futures Nottingham and have experience in working to develop a range of other arts organisations including Creative Partnerships and Colston Hall, Bristol. They are keen to ensure that their involvement has a positive influence on the CDI as it evolves rather than after it has finished, by which time it is of course too late to change anything. For more information please contact Jonathan (jonathanwestrup@drakemusicproject.org) or Doug (dougbott@drakemusicproject.org) or visit: CDI Blog (http://drakemusiccdi.blogspot.com CDI info on Drake Music website: http://www.drakemusicproject.org/makepage.asp?page=2 Duncan Sones Associates: http://sones.info | |
