| We are delighted that Doug Bott, Drake Music's south west programme manager and Drake Musician Charlotte White are visiting Tromsø in Norway from 20th to 27th January 2009 to attend the Northern Lights Music Festival as guests of the SKUG centre and Tromsø University. Doug has been working with Charlotte for many years and she is a featured artist on our website. For the festival's opening performance Charlotte has written three music pieces which have been pre-recorded by musicians at Tromsø University to accompany a dance piece based on the Norwegian fairytale of Havmannens sønn. As well as attending various concerts, Doug and Charlotte will be giving presentations to the Music Department at the university and also at Tromsø Music College. When Charlotte and Doug have returned we will feature music and photos with further information, so watch this space! | |
